It’s Time to Woman Up.

This weekend, many of my sisters from all around the country will join hands to march. Many are marching for equal rights. Many are marching to show the world that women’s issues are global issues. And some are marching to just to be in the presence of other, powerful women.
In times like these, it becomes easy to fall into violence, aggression, and war-like behaviors. However, as women, let us embrace the power of the feminine energy as our greatest tool. Feminine energy which embodies softness, gentleness, and kindness, and which in every way stresses compassion. The most powerful, the almighty Goddess of light will overcome the evil of darkness.
Women! It is time to embrace the qualities of water- Allow your soft, yielding, fluid self to enter places where you have been excluded. Allow your energy to nourish and give life to others. Allow yourselves to flow as you march, as you speak to others with kindness, as you connect with all the beings around you. Let us create rivers of compassion that simply cannot be denied.
Take refuge in your softness and gentleness, represent the miraculous, powerful (not force-ful), Yin energy…The universe, Mother Earth, is awaiting your return home…
Because that is our power- Women standing against darkness do not need aggression or violence, they need only to come together and, “Turn on the Light!”
